Help locals in need! The Mustard Seed Project is a local non-profit helping families who slip through the cracks, not receiving sufficient services from other government and community organizations.
For the entire month of August, Glass Jug will be holding a charity drive for The Mustard Seed Project, where we’ll be collecting food, clothing, shoes, and toys. Please drop your donations at the Glass Jug Downtown Durham taproom. The Mustard Seed project is also seeking donations of kitchen gear, including large pots and pans, a food processor, a stand mixer, refrigerators, freezers, small appliances, etc.If your item is too large to drop off at The Glass Jug, please contact Mrs. Marcella at The Mustard Seed Project directly at 919-423-7720.
Then on Saturday, August 12th celebrate and learn more with us from 10am - 1pm. We’ll have face painting, alcoholic watermelon slushies, and free slices of watermelon. You can enjoy your drinks as you talk with Mrs. Marcella, founder of The Mustard Seed Project. All donors will be entered to win piece of Glass Jug merchandise of your choice!
