They say time flies when you’re having fun, and we have sure had some fun times over the last EIGHT YEARS!
It simultaneously feels like just yesterday we were anxiously approaching our grand opening and hoping people would show up to buy beer from us at our little bottle shop.
But, it also feels like a lifetime ago - a lifetime that has included a move and expansion of our original location in RTP, which included adding our on-site brewery and beer garden, plus the addition of a second taproom in downtown Durham, and beginning to brew at the Rocky Mount Mills to meet the demand of two taprooms plus wholesale.
Oh, and then there was COVID.
I think we have plenty of reasons to celebrate this year! And, we decided to pull out all of the stops this time around. We’re not holding anything back!
We’ve always done commemorative 0.5-Liter mugs. This year…we’re doing 1L mugs!
We always release a special beer the week of our anniversary. This year…we’re releasing FIVE beers!
Since we have two taprooms now, so we’re doing a FULL WEEK of celebrating at both taprooms with fun and unique events happening every day from September 12 through September 17!
We always end the week with our Oktoberfest party in the beer garden at RTP. This year, we’ve booked the Little German Band & Dancers, the premiere Oktoberfest band in the Triangle, and instead of one food truck, we’ll have three. Plus, Kidzu will be here with activities for the kids, and we’ll (of course) be hosting our annual stein hoisting competition!
